Thursday, May 25, 2006 just keep swimming... 4:52 PM the sun was out today! there was absolutely no hint of grey rain clouds, or so i thought. figured it's the perfect day to swim, yes? SIGH. was i wrong. someone out there hates me i swear. either that or my mother, knowing that i went swimming at 2 in the afternoon in the blazing sun, prayed that the sun will hide and play peekaboo when anuja was in the pool so that she won't tan and will stay fair and lovely fairever, oops, forever. she must have prayed SO hard. i had sun for what, 5 laps? i have absolutely no HINT of a tan. for those of you who think indian girls cannot tan, goaway! swimming is such fun. esp when the sun is out. you involuntarily smile. and the floor of the pool gets all shimmery and sparkly with the reflection of the water and it looks so pretty. =) i like! how can anyone hate water? when it's blazing hot, midday sun, all i wanna do is jump into cold water and i swear i can hear a 'fzzzz' sound when i jump in. ahahha. so many excuses people give, i swear. 1. i don't swim because errr, i am fat. 2. the pool is dirty 3. i need a brazilian 4. people will see me in a swimsuit. 5. i'm too hot, men will pick me up. 6. i don't want to mess up my hair whateverr. look at buona vista swimming complex, they're all gay anyWAY so many reasons why you SHOULD swim! 1. the cold water is damn good 2. the floor is all sparkly and pretty when the sun shines 3. you get a tan! 4. the banana muffin tastes SO much better after a swim 5. it's good exercise, duh 6. you feel howww good about yourself after looking at the flabby men at buona vista 7. flaunt it, girlfriend! 8. you see flat manjan chicks and you can snicker at all of them hahah 9. you can eat more and not feel guilty 10. you have an excuse to buy a bikini 11. you can finally use that bikini that you bought agesss ago that's hiding in a corner of your cupboard 12. you can look like those damn bikini models! that's more than enough reasons to swim. 0 comments |
